Just a quick thank you to everyone who attended the parents meeting. We really appreciate all the support we are getting for the program. A special thanks goes out to Vittoria for getting a great location to hold the meeting and for doing such a wonderful job in facilitating the proceedings.

 

Our second attempt at the Out of the Cold dinner this past Sunday was another wonderful success. Thank you to all of the boys, their parents and some siblings for the wonderful effort. Once again we need to thank Vittoria and her husband Don for spearheading this project. I truly believe that this is a great experience for all of us to participate in. Giving back to those who are not us fortunate as we are is very rewarding. I would like to tell all of the parents about the flattering comments we received from most of the patrons that attended the dinner. They couldn't say enough about how courteous and friendly all of the kids were. Dorothy, who runs the program, can't believe how helpful all of the boys are. It is a nice reminder as parents that you are doing a good job. If anyone has an idea for another type of project that we can participate in, please let us know.

 

The outdoor season is approaching us very quickly. We are only about 8 weeks away from the outdoor schedule starting. It is important that you try and make as many of the training sessions that you can.

 

We want to remind you that any sponsors that you are trying to get that need to go on shirts, banners or track suits, should be in by the end of February so we have the time to get the printing done.

 

Just a friendly reminder that the first installment for the new season is due for the end of January. If you have any questions or requests regarding payments, please do not hesitate to come and speak to me. We are in this together so that it works for everybody.
